1. Stains With all that walking about barefoot, we can sometimes get dirt marks on our feet that turn into permanent stains that washing just won't get rid of. Instead, try soaking your feet in a bowl of water with a dissolved denture cleaning tablet. Trust me it works! 2. Soften Now your feet are clean, give them an extra soak in hot water with an essential oil. It doesn't matter which one, choose your favourite! Once they've soaked for a few minutes to soften them, use a pumice stone to remove hard skin. Dry your feet thoroughly |
3. Cuticles Grab a good old orange stick, wrap the ends in cotton wool and push the cuticles back. 4. Cream Rub some good thick foot cream into your feet to lock in the moisture. 5. Toenails Cut your toenails. Its always best to cut straight across to stop ingrown toenails from becoming a problem. |
6. Ridges If your toenails are ridged, use a buff. Ridges are common in toenails as they are a sign of trauma. Buffing will reduce the appearance of the ridges and increase circulation to the nail bed. 7. Varnish Finally, apply your favourite nail varnish if you like and go buy yourself a well fitting, well ventilated pair of shoes! |
